Latino Community Fund Georgia (LCF Georgia) is a philanthropic and membership organization that works to fill service and program gaps for Georgia’s Latinx communities. Working close with their team, I recognized an opportunity to develop their employee handbook that has to align their brand identity and to enhance the link of the organization.
Through close collaboration with LCF Georgia, I developed a holistic employee handbook that align with their brand strategy and created illustrations based on the content to draw employee's eyes and help them understand the book quickly.
MY discovery process revealed that the previous LCF Georgia employee handbook is dense with text-heavy content, making it less engaging and challenging for employees to navigate or absorb key information effectively.
Through stakeholder interviews and sharing the concept I made, I identified key strategic direction:
Using color to break the content into concise sections
Instead of using font, the Headlines use Rubik Black, the subtitles use Montserray Semi-Bold, and the body uses Montserrat Light. Also creating a clear hierarchy headline system.
Using illustrations to help the reader understand the content effectively.
