Kids-TALK Children's Advocacy Center provides a supportive, child-focused environment where survivors of abuse and their families receive the protection, care, and treatment they need to heal.
Many children who experience abuse and trauma, along with their families, may hesitate to seek support due to fear, stigma, or lack of awareness.
Kids-TALK Children's Advocacy Center strives to remove these barriers by creating a safe, welcoming space where all children up to age 17 and their families feel encouraged to visit, share their experiences, and receive the care they need to heal.
I helped Kids-TALK Children's Advocacy Center create a welcoming brand identity for children up to age 17. I focused on designing logos that represent Kids-TALK, creating a warm and supportive environment that encourages listening and communication.
The logo merges the letter “K” with a hummingbird, symbolizing the importance of listening to even the smallest voices. Just as a hummingbird’s wings create a distinct sound despite its size, every child’s voice deserves to be noticed and heard. The hummingbird represents resilience, attentiveness, and hope, which reflect the mission to listen, protect, and empower every child’s journey toward healing.
The original title logo used Myriad Pro. To give it a more geometric look, I made subtle adjustments to the red portion.
